Did you know that One Planet Bruton started because local schoolchildren asked for action on climate change? On the back of their passion, Bruton Town Council declared a climate and ecological emergency. 
If everyone in the world lived as we do in the UK, we would need three planets to support us. 
The vision of One Planet Living is a world where everyone can live happy, healthy lives within the natural limits of the planet, leaving space for wildlife and wilderness. 
Through the One Planet Living framework, One Planet Bruton is enabling and supporting action for sustainability in our town. Our mission? To help Bruton become carbon neutral, zero waste, and socially fair - all through Bioregional’s 10 One Planet Living Principles.
Today, we’re thrilled to join Good Company Bruton as one of their causes and to deliver our vision for a greener, healthier, more connected town.
